The Leading the Change programme is entirely focused on developing personal and leadership skills for architects. Step by step, you learn the skills to become the change-leading architect.
It's a powerful 4-day group training where all the steps of the Leading Architects approach are covered.
The 4 days are spread over 4 to 6 weeks, allowing for the immediate application of the learned skills in practice.
We offer the Leading the Change programme as an in-company training, making it an ideal opportunity for team building and mutual learning.

The starting point throughout is your personality analysis, enabling you to deploy strategies and techniques that align with you who you are.

The online modules provide a deepening and reinforcement of the topics learned in the group training.

Day 1
Module 1 – find out who you are – it starts with self-awareness.
We start the program by fostering self-awareness through a comprehensive personality analysis. This analysis provides valuable insights into aspects such as communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Module 2 – successful teams - ingredients for a successful team
As an architect, you often work in and with multiple teams. In this module, you learn to understand the strengths and pitfalls of your team. You also learn how to work with the 5 essential ingredients for every successful team.
Day 2
Module 3 – Know your audience – make the connection, know what is happening
You want to ensure that your ideas align well with what is needed in the organization. This begins with knowing the key players and understanding what is happening in the organization. In this module, you will learn the importance of stakeholder management, making genuine connections, and an approach for stakeholder analysis
Module 4 – Build your story – crafting your compelling architecture story
You will learn a highly effective technique for convincingly bringing your architectural story.
Based on proven methods, I have developed a technique that is perfect for creating and delivering architectural stories. A technique where you achieve the right blend of a clear message, a logical storyline, and persuasive elements.
Day 3
Module 5 – Show the real you - making an impact from your own strengths
You are going to convey your story in the organization. However, to do this impactfully, it is essential that you do it in an authentic way that suits you. During this module, you gain insight into your unique talents and pitfalls in communication. You learn communication strategies that suit you best.
Module 6 – Get people moving - Leading through influence
You want the people around you to embrace your ideas. In addition to conveying your story, the game of influence comes into play. In this module, you will learn the essential foundation for effective influence, discover your personal influencing style, gain insight into various influencing techniques, and learn to handle resistance.
Day 4
Module 7 – Tell & tune your story – align with your audience
To perfectly connect with your audience, you continuously adjust your story. In this module, we practice storytelling. You will present your developed story to the group and receive valuable feedback. It may sound exciting, but you will find this part enjoyable and extremely valuable.
Module 8 – Lead the change – Now you are in the lead, what to do?
In the final module, you are the change leading architect. You are recognized as a leader, and more and more people seek your guidance. But what does it mean to be in the lead? What can you do to stay afloat amidst the workload? What can you do to ensure that others convey your story? In this module, you learn the essential leadership skills as an architect.

Yes it is. All architects steer change and provide the frameworks needed for it. Every architect therefore needs certain leadership qualities. There is no such thing as a prototypical leader. Everyone is unique. In the programme, we look for your personal leadership qualities and strategies that you can use.
Certainly. Every architect benefits from strong personal and leadership skills. I don't consider the level or number of years of experience important. It's about the drive to want to develop yourself and to grow.
Yes, it is. Definitely. Telling a story kind of goes with the territory of being an architect. I teach you how to tell your story in a way that suits you. But you also learn other influencing techniques to get people on board with your story. So it’s really not necessary to love the limelight.
No, this programme is about developing yourself. Taking action, trying things out and practising them in your daily work is crucial to growth. Taking an exam does not add anything to this. But you do receive a certificate of participation.
No, in this programme you don’t learn an architecture method. There are already many other courses available for that. In this programme, you learn the personal and leadership skills an architect needs. The programme does, however, cover all kinds of architecture cases.
